Spring has arrived! Time for some TLC for your vehicle

Toyota City is known for an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. To add extra fun for our customers, we have a Prize Wheel that everyone gets to spin for a perfect new car day! Amongst the prizes are gift certificates to some great local restaurants. We thought we’d dive into a few of them. The Sedona Taphouse is just down the street from our showroom at 640 East Boston Post Road, (914) 341-1511. They offer a terrific selection of artisan sandwiches at lunchtime. Try their crispy chicken sandwich with a hot honey glaze served with a side of your choice, or perhaps a prime rib sandwich served with sauteed onions and mushrooms. For dinner, their STH Wagyu beef burger with pepper jack cheese is a must-do. Sedona Taphouse has an excellent selection on beer on tap and ales. Another fabulous destination is Modern on the Rails, located at 1 Station Plaza in Mamaroneck, (914) 777-9300. You will be dining in a grand old train station with gorgeous woodwork, vaulted ceilings, massive fireplace, and a delicious mix of Italian and Continental cuisine to suit different palettes. You may enjoy a T-Bone lamb chop, pork chop, NY strip or ribeye while your partner feasts on linguine with fresh shucked clam sauce. The service is excellent. Car shopping with children? Try these kid-friendly restaurants, also good for a delicious quick bite. Did you know the Mamaroneck is a home of one of the oldest and most famous hotdog restaurants, Walter’s Hotdogs? Walters is located at 937 Palmer Ave. You can’t miss it. Look for the green roof and dragons. (The building is a nationally registered historical landmark.) An exclusive blend of beef, pork and veal, Walter's hot dogs are split down the middle, grilled in a "secret sauce," and served on a toasted bun with Walter's signature mustard: a blend of choice mustard seeds, relish and spices. You can have curly fries and fresh ice-cream for dessert. There’s nothing like it! The only place for a great slice of traditional pizza is Sal’s Pizzeria located at 316 Mamaroneck Ave. Sal’s competes with the best of Bronx pizzerias and we’re lucky to have them nearby! The crust is crispy with a little char on the bottom, dense and chewy and able to carry whatever toppings you choose. And of course they also do calzones and other solid pizzeria favorites. It seems like yesterday that we opened Toyota City for business, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The timing was far from perfect. Covid-19 was all over the country and businesses were closed. And yet here we are, proudly celebrating our second successful year serving the local community and greater Metro NY area! Our team effort has paid off with a stellar reputation amongst our customers for exceptional service in all departments. In fact, we were the only Toyota dealership in Westchester to receive the prestigious Toyota President's Award for 2021! This award is a reflection of energy and tireless commitment by every one of our Toyota City Team members. We are a family owned and operated business and treat everyone who steps through our door like family as well. We've grown to be a part of our community here in Mamaroneck and the surrounding areas. We are heavily involved with our chamber of commerce, and donate time and money to charities such as Operation Warm - Cars for Coats, St Jude’s Children's Hospital, CT Hanks Yanks Fundraiser, New York State Shields, The Boy Scouts and various Church Food Drives. Toyota City is a member of Integrity Automotive, a group of 5 select dealerships in the NY Metro Area that includes brands such as Nissan, Hyundai and Genesis. This month is actually the anniversary of each Integrity dealership, so we are all celebrating together! From now through June 18th, enter our Anniversary Giveaway Contest for a chance to win a new car*, a flat screen TV or a computer! You can stop in to any dealer location to enter, or enter on our website. We look forward to serving you as we grow. As always, our mission is to treat everyone like family, with Transparency, Efficiency and Respect!
